Help, my new tumble dryer is plugged into rcd wall socket in outhouse. The plug feels slightly warm to touch when on. Is this normal for a tumble dryer. Thanks

Yip a tumble dryer draws lots of current so they do get warm, they shouldn’t get hot or smelly. If you are worried get a spark to check it,

I've had this with various appliances. I've found cleaning the pins of the plug with a fine emery cloth reduced the contact resistance and improved things greatly.
