turning t junction on cast soil pipe.

    im concidering re-jigging my bathroom around which would involve moveing my toilet over by about 1m.is it feasable to loosen the t junction on my outside cast metal soil pipe.the junction would need to swivel around 180deg ?

    yep it will swivel, depends how its caulked , some are done with putty, that would make it easy, some are done with lead, that would be harder and you would need a BIG blowlamp, some are made up with cement and can be hard to de-caulk, then you would have to consider the offsets higher up, if there are any,

    Why not go the whole hog and replace the cast stack for a plastic one, while you are at it?
