It didnt look reasonable to me. It looked threatening and intimidating, if not actual violence.
It's hard to interpret it any other way - the farmer turns up and throws his first punch within a few seconds.

Although trespass in itself would normally be considered a civil matter, these saboteurs most definitely fall into the category of aggravated trespass, which is a criminal offence.Was it clear it wss private land.
Doesnt matter, no such law as tresspass in England and Wales, its a civel matter.
