Hi everyone,
I have a faulty defrost bi-metal thermostat, manufactured by KSD with the marking 8/-7 printed on a label , as shown in the attached image. This is one part of a temp-sensor/fuse assembly found in a Hoover freezer: https://fixpart.co.uk/product/climadiff-502407010015-temperature-sensor
My guess is that the 8 is 8F = -13C and the -7 is the differential temperature in F when the thermostat is activated/closed at 8F - 7F = 1F = -17C. Is this correct?
Thanks in advance,
JMc
