    Afternoon all,

Does anyone have any experience with repairing underfloor heating pipes.
The pipes are in a screed between joists and one of the pipes has been hit with a screw. I have spoken with the manufacturer and they are sending out a repair fitting (think a long compression coupler).

Anyone used one of these before? Are they a true permanent fix? Just concerned that one the floor and tiles are down really is much chance to access again without considerable work and damage to floor coverings.

If the manufacturers are supplying a repair joint I would assume they think it's fit for purpose and therefore a permanent repair.
