spoke to supersparky (thanks) on a problem about an underground cable problem to an old stable block. the wiring from a supply (house)60m away is, althogh connected, not giving a continuity so obviously no power. it looks like a new supply is required.
i could possible get a supply from a second out building about 15m away from the stable. it has a fuse panel (30amp)againg coming from the same source, supplying some striplights and a couple of sockets. what is the best way of supplying the stable from this source going to a new fuse panel. there wont be a heavy requirement in the stable. 12 striplights and a couple of twin sockets.

if there is not a heavy load required go for the 4mm saw on a 20amp breaker off the second building should be fine for lights and a couple of light load points
