Hi, Finishing off a kitchen install, and don't ask me why, but for some reason I assumed the stone fitters would be doing my wooden worktops too So, I now only have half my worktops sorted as I have a wooden worktop butting up against a quartz worktop, and another single length against a wall. First question, who should I be looking for to cut and install this (local carpenter or specialist?), and will they be able to template and do all the cutting, rounded edges etc... Second question, to do the worktop left to right in one run, is max depth 1240, max length 1500. Is it worth the extra cost to pay for a made up worktop @ 1240, or will it still look perfect joining two lengths together (oak readily comes in 1240, but not my requirement in walnut)? Thanks all!
