    My conservatory door appears to be missing a cap/end. It basically means there’s a big gap and in winter the conversatory is freezing.

    I’ve looked around and can’t figure what i need to buy to replace.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Fill it with silicone, easy enough to do.

    Do you know the profile / manufacturer / or supplier of units ?

    If so, spares should be available, trouble is there’s no generic cap that fits all so you need to ID doors and then contact supplier

    Thanks for that,

    Is there an easy way to find out the profile etc?

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    But ‘if’......

    You know the make of the units, it’s even easier to just call the manufacturers and they will pop em in the post for you, or locate a local suppliers

    Have a look for any ID on window openings / frames, sometimes yes / no

    My units are Rehau. Called them up few years ago as same piece as urs was missing and a few end caps from window sills. All sent out free of charge - great customer service

    Of course, if you can’t ID, then you may well have to go down the route of a mentioned bodge job :D
