Hi. I need to replace a lock barrel. Where I’d normally expect to see the retaining screw is just a small hole. If I remove the top to bottom plate (around 20 screws) the multi point lock latches would also be released. Any ideas?

Is the hole threaded? If so, the small screw has been removed already. In that case, the barrel should slide out with a turn of the key! Yikes!!

The threaded part for the securing screw is in the euro cylinder body.

    Remove the retaining screw.
(You state the retaining screw is not present?)
Loosen the screws on the lock’s faceplate. Insert the working key into the lock.

Turn the key to either side and gently pull the lock toward you.

Continue turning the key until the lock slides free from the door.

Thanks. I’ve tried that but there is no face plate.
