    Hello all.

I've just got the keys to a house I've purchased which has French sliding doors. I've noticed today that the beading on one door is lose and I cannot get it to seat back in. I've tried tapping it with a rubber mallet but no joy. It appears that one of the longest lengths is too long and it makes the piece now a little. However, I don't believe this is stopping it going in as one of the shorter lengths looks to have the same problem.

I've uploaded a couple of pics.

    Any ideas?

They are too long and that's normal. Needs to squash up as over time the rubber will shrink back and it looks terrible.

Best cut long. Fit either ends then do the middle last so that either end is squashed up allowing for rubber to shrink
