There is no active ventilation in my downstairs terrace bathroom, and I want to put in an electric fan to combat damp as opening windows just isn't practical in the cold.

Is there any extractor fan that I could vent through a tube, out through the 100mm x 100mm my washing machine waste already leaves by?

It seems a bit overkill to drill a whole other hole through render, brick and plaster for this.

Anybody know of an electric fan which has a slimmer bore and longer outlet pipe? All the ones I've seen are at least 140mm.[IMG]

    cheers.

What are you trying to achieve? If you're trying to reduce smells, then a floor level fan might help a bit, but if you're trying to remove shower steam, then it needs to ne mounted as close to the ceiling as possible.

    Fit a window fan.
