This corner itre clamp has been designed wrongly ie the clamp should pull rather than push.
On use offering up the clamp forces the mitred wood pieces apart rather than bring them together which it should do.

I now that,but the one I bought should be called a Mitre Vice not a clamp.

Whats the difference?
1.A Mitre Vice holds two pieces of mitred wood together whilst the glue sets.
2.A Mitre Clamp pulls the mitred wood together.

Anyway even if I made the mistake of buying a supposedly Mitre Clamp it still fails in the respect that it forces the joint apart when you offer up the vice jaws.
