Variable Threshold tiles to laminate

Hey guys,

we are redoing our floor leading to the bathroom, however, with the floor underlay and laminate, it takes another inch (about 2.5) to get up to the same level as the tiles.

many ideas?

A layer of 1" ply or two layers of half inch ply.

All across the floor to bring it up? Or just a part of it near the door where it needs lifting?
