Ventilation in windowless kitchen query

Hi

Can someone advise what the best solution is here. I'm creating a windowless kitchen because it far the best solution with the floor plan. There's no external wall but there is a pipe leading to the outside for a cooker hood. Question is, can a cooker extractor hood allow some background ventilation or should I try to find a way to get a separate extractor fan that links to light switch (like in a bathroom)?

Alternatively, I could ventilate to the lounge on the other side of a partition so at least air ventilates with a room that has a window. In that case, there is going to be a 'borrowed-light' window into the lounge, and wondering if I should use that (make it openable or with trickle vents) or should I actually put a vent in the wall.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks
