Hi, I have a patch of moss which keeps appearing on my house wall. Yesterday I put neat vinegar and bicarbonate of soda on it to scrub it off. I didn't rinse it away. Now I have read vinegar is really damaging to bricks and mortar. Will my wall be ok after just doing this once. I am worried I have caused damage to the bricks and mortar it went on and soaked into. Thanks

Soak it up with strips of deep fried potatoes :)

Funny, thank you! Is it definitely ok then. I have severe anxiety and it's making me sick worrying about it. I have visions of the mortar crumbling and having to have a section of wall rebuilt due to the damage I have caused.
