Is it not wise to store the title deeds (fire, flood and theft etc) for your property with a suitable solicitor?
Here in Bath Metro Bank has safe deposit boxes, 5 sizes available, accessible 7 days a week. Extra Small (XS) 3" x 5" x 21.5" @ £240 a year.
Never trust safety deposit boxes - I would say 75% go missing - I’ve worked in the industry. Also Metro Bank was doing a Northern Rock last week - queues out the door as rumours spread they were going under https://mobile.twitter.com/the_photographr/status/1127252481996726273 Title deeds are now all electronic - you pay around £3 from memory and they send it to you in PDF to store / print off.
This is a more recent picture after I have taken some foliage down - I’m wondering if gravel grids can be used on a sharp incline if I decide not to level the ground too much !!! From where I am stood to the garage wall is an approx 1.5m drop...
Thanks Got a guy out today who is a mini digger person ‘hire for a day’ type and asked him, about flattening the area and whether a retaining wall would stop any potential land movement (if we dug the grass away) and he said he just didn’t know!!! His advert talked about expert advice but he was useless !!! Guess I need to track down either a builder or driveway specialist !
