Walls first? Or floor first?

    Doing the downstairs toilet...

Porcelain on the floor, ceramic to halfway up the wall.

Should I do the floor first, all the way to the plaster, and then the walls?

Or should I do the walls first, that way I can work on the floor while the walls are setting?

Is there a right and wrong way here?

Fit your battens round the room for level and then tile the walls.
Tile the floor next and then the cuts or full tiles at the bottom of the wall, depending if the floor was level.
