Boiler is WB Greenstar 25i combi and is currently in a cupboard in the bathroom. We are knocking through so it needs to be relocated. Only viable options are to the loft space (not ideal) or the garage (more work/cost but preferable).

Does anyone know if my WB combi would have issues moving it to the ground floor? I've, does it need gravity assistance? This will more likely make my decision for me.

Fit the combi in the garage, it will be just fine.

That's the answer I was looking for. It's bad enough being in the loft myself, servicing a boiler.....no ta!!

should not be a problem moving the boiler, only gravity aspect would be the condense pipework again that will not be a problem for a registered installer.
Budget for a new flue pipe and any flue turret gaskets that may be required, again your installer will be in the know ;).

If your boiler has a wb warranty you will have to inform them prior to moving the machine o_O
