WBP or hardwood ply for shower tray

Is there a difference between WBP plywood and hardwood plywood? I’m trying to determine if hardwood plywood would be sufficient for a shower base.

WBP is more durable and water resistant. Hardibacker or similar cement based board far better than either. 12mm

My floor consists of a layer of OSB and chipboard flooring so would hardibacker be better than ply in this case? Would 6mm hardibacker be ok? Or 12mm?

For under the tray, If you have room then 12mm is always better. 6mm would work provided everything is screwed down rock solid and there's no movement or deflection.
