My floor consists of a layer of OSB and chipboard flooring so would hardibacker be better than ply in this case? Would 6mm hardibacker be ok? Or 12mm?

M Mark DM Screwfix Select Sep 15, 2024 #4 For under the tray, If you have room then 12mm is always better. 6mm would work provided everything is screwed down rock solid and there's no movement or deflection.
