    i'm just wondering if SIPS 'float' above foundations on bolts or a plate of some sort acting as a DPC, or if it's;

    foundations
    dpc
    sips?

    Obviously that wouldnt make sense as they're not secured, but what stops the damp raising?

    & also if the same foundations are needed for a single story SIP's build as a single story brick build?

    The panels sit on a base of timber sole plates which in turn are sitting on top of the concrete slab, bolted or shot fixed to. There is a DPM built into the concrete slab and a DPC is also placed under the sole plates so no moisture will get through.
