    Hi All,

I need to wall mount a Plasma TV on a bracket with 4 main fixing points (total weight about 35kg) onto a 4 inch thick block wall.

What fixings would you recommend ?

I was thinking of using some Fischer Nylon Plugs (Screwfix 20173-85) 10mm drill diameter with some chunky gauge 2.5/3" screws.

Should I be using some sort of Anchor fixing instead, if so what would you recommend - Screwfix no. appreciated.

    Many Thanks.

Use 'Thunderbolts'. They screw straight into masonry without a plug.

    They are the business.

You can buy 'em from decent builders merchants. This is a pic of them in the bottom right.

How about 16mm expanding rawl bolts and a lump hammer. ;)
