    Hi

We are having a new kitchen and flooring, and wanted to lay tiles on the floor.

We"ve been told that as the flooring is suspended we shouldnt have tiles as they can move and crack. I've read about 'flexible' grout but this seems a strange concept,

Does anyone have any advise or recommend a good floor covering? The current laminate flooring has lifted and bowed all over so we are a little disapointed not to have tiles!

    Thanks

Look at ARDEX X 7001, particurly good flexible fibre reinforced adhesive for wooden floors.

But, the sucess of any tiles on timber sub base is preperation, 18mm ply securely screwed down,& primed with ArdexP51 primer.
