What size chimney for an Aga?

Having been passed from pillar to post and seemingly fobbed off a few times by the companies that supplied the Aga and chimney flue pipe, I thought I would ask this community of normal/helpful folk.

Quite simply: I have an LPG Aga and the shroud where the flue pipe locates has an internal diameter of 124mm (measured with calipers).

What diameter flue should I be using for an LPG Aga....4" or 5" ?

I am asking because the 5" pipe already purchased is 126mm O/D and therefore doesn't fit, but a 4" would leave a decent gap all the way around and look odd.

    Many thanks.....in advance

As with all gas appliances, the flue must be fitted in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
That said, it’s normal to fit a 4” flue, if fan flue.
If natural draught , you must not reduce the flue size.
    Also the terminal is important

That said, it is important to check with installation instructions, there is a big difference, between natural draught and forced, so please insure you get it fitted as per aga, instructions.

You can probably download the installation manual online ?
Or you may not live to regret it!

    Good luck
