What subfloor is this?

I am planning to replace my current flooring to vinyl or laminate planks. I have this subfloor, can someone advise what type is it and what do I need to do to pre the sub-floor?

I thought it was concrete but there seems to be some tiles?

The tiles look very much like "marley" ones if so they may contain asbestos.
Very common on solid floors I would go for laminate not anything self adhesive just lay the underlay with the inclusive DPM and the floor will be floating no need to tamper with the tiles more that you have to.
You will have some loose bits when you take up the gripper rod, clear up with a damp cloth not a hoover.
Plenty on line about Thermoplastic tiles, the black adhesive often contains asbestos too.
Don't panic though as bonded asbestos goes they are very low risk unless sanded.
If you want to seal any broken edges or remaining adhesive I used pva adhesive on mine.

Thanks! This is very helpful. I have a few follow-up questions:
1. Is it has to be laminate? or either Laminate planks or Vinyl planks would be fine?

2. I can feel some unevenness, is it still going to be fine only do what you suggested (underlayment with DPM then floating floor)? Obviously I can't sand it down anyway.

OP,
The first pic is definitely not lino - it shows flecked, 12 x 12 vinyl tiles - some kind of underlayment - and square edge floor boards.
Why not remove all carpeting and grippers and completely expose the tiled floor for a pic that shows the unevenness?

Some kind of vinyl click flooring would probably work after prepping?

Poster # 6,
Where does it say that the tiles in your pics are linoleum?
The only writing I can decipher says: "GOLD SEAL vinyl tile"?

I've laid lots of 12 x 12 tiles - exactly like the ones in the OP's pic & they were never linoleum.
The only linoleum I've fitted was sheet lino for a counter top.

Gold Seal 'Congoleum' was a new linoleum process combining other materials(one of which was asbestos) Gold Seal was a lino manufacturer that then developed vinyl products, the pics are from 1953.

Linoleum has a jute canvas backing, the pattern and colour go all the way through, vinyl patterns are stamped on, if foot traffic have worn away the surface pattern it's not linoleum, you can determine which by cutting the tile.

You seem more concerned about being right, or rather proving me wrong, than helping the OP, if you have fitted ones exactly like the OP's you will know the manufacturer and they won't contain asbestos, unless of course you mean you laid them in the 70 years ago.

Poster #9,
Please stop ducking and diverting - no more verbatim quoting google.

I repeat: where does it say that the tiles in your pic are linoleum?

The OP can peel one back and reveal what they are if it matters to them, it doesn't matter much to me, why does it matter to you?

Dear poster #11,

It doesn't, it says 'vinyl', Congoleum was an early vinyl produced by Nairn's.

Guess what it's made of?

If your brain was made of dynamite....

Poster #13,
Your words: "It doesn't, it says vinyl" - then it beggars belief that you would say the vinyl tiles in your pic were linoleum?

"Guess what its made of"? - Whats made of?
Are you struggling to say something about linoleum or vinyl?

google has bewildered you, and in your confusion you once again turn to personal insults so I'll leave you to it.
