    Evening all,

Just finishing a large extension which has had porcelain tile laid on S1 standard set tile adhesive over Ditra matting on a new screed floor which has been down for 10 months, obviously the client wants to be in for Christmas.

I asked about when to put the ufh on. Tiler said few days, chippy said weeks and weeks because he was on this job yada yada yada. I googled it and got conflicting information so thought I would ask on here.

So “How long until we can put the wet UFH on after new tiles been laid ?”

    cheers

We waited two weeks to put ours in and then only at a low temperature (12c) and increased it gradually over a week to normal operating temperature (19c). No issues at all.

It will all depend on how wet the slab was and ambient temperature and humidity.

Are those temperatures room or flow temperatures?

So, not really relavent as it will be tempeature of te water that will affect the curing of tile adhesive.
