I'm in the market for a new sliding mitre saw. Had an Evolution for about 10 years which has done the job, but wasn't particularly precise. I can't justify splashing out big bucks on a Makita or DeWalt, so currently looking at Erbauer or another Evolution. Both get pretty decent reviews, but I'm not sure what to go with. Anyone got any advice?
It might be a bit toppy for you but my bosch is really accurate https://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-gc...cDNFnN-IzRKK4eUzH5RoCKwQQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Erbauer, if there any problems with it there is always a Screwfix or B&Q nearby to get things sorted, spares you the hassle of couriers.
If you've not bought already, I purchased a Performance Pro from B&Q years ago, for occasional use. Been great really, Circa £100 iirc. Think it is their own brand???
What do you plan on using it for? I have an Erbauer which I use for cutting studs mainly, but have also used for decking, feather edge board etc. Ive worked it hard for a few years and absolutely no quibbles about it, perfect for me and still using the supplied blade
