My mother in law has just had a new cylinder fitted to her AGA, the hot water is now very hot! Previously the unlagged cylinder heated the bathroom and effectively reduced the water temp to just hot.

Can you ge a whole house TMV to cool all the hot water? Anyone have a link?

Or should they just strip the insulation off?

Or fit a towel warmer into the hot water cicuit?

(its an indirect cylinder by the way)

If she turns the AGA down the oven doesn't get hot enough to make crackling!

    Ta in advance

i think you will find most TMV.s have a max hot inlet temp useally around 65c above this they tend to pulsate the water flow, and dont tend to last too long. i would recomend fitting a TMV designed for solar use which will handle the much higher temps that your arga is probably producing
