Window exterior query

We have these gaps between our window frame and trim.

Is this something to be concerned about or is it normal?

Get the fitters back, the Windows aren't locked into the bay poles properly and is a point for water ingress. Sloppy.

really? That annoying. How easy of a job is it?

it’s a new build so trying to gather as much info before reporting it and getting fobbed off with some excuse

Well it's not difficult in the first instance but now the glass is in it involves removing it and any cover moulds, cills, anything restricting the window frame from moving and tapping the frame into the pole to lock it into place. Though the builder will probably try to silicone over the gap or fit a trim to cover it to avoid doing the work I listed above.

This is the whole window it’s flush in parts and not in others

The opposite side is fine

The bay pole is probably out of plumb and the fitter couldn't get the last window to seat correctly.
