Hi, Im going to fit a 70mm Internally Beaded uPVC Profile window into a timber stud frame. The walls will have plasterboard fitted but necessarily plastered (its a store room / gym area for the kids) What size of wood do I use for the window surround structure? Is it 70mm depth (plus plasterboard 12.5mm) or something different? many thanks
Depends on how you want to finish the window I.e. Flush or with reveals but as a simple answer 4x2 would be your best bet.
