My nest thermostat has bit the dust and I ordered the Worcester Bosch Easycontrol (I wanted the smart trv) as a replacement. Just had it delivered and realised that I hadn't thought about wiring it. The nest base station is next to the boiler but that's not where you'd want the thermostat. I think I've got a fairly simple route to where I want it by going straight down under the floor then up in the hall. Is the following flex the right thing to use for the wiring? It's for the low voltage EMS bus connection? https://www.screwfix.com/p/time-2182y-white-2-core-0-5mm-flexible-cable-50m-drum/851pf
Yes it would do the job, personally I would use 4 or 5 core to future proof, so there are cores for earth and power if required latter, but it seems it is a class III device and only needs two core.
