Oh dear oh dear.

You still dont understand?

I do have to admit you are very clever, missing the questions. Just answer them?

Now back to those figures you support. I cannot find any report of 41% growth over the period mentioned. So you have me beat there.

Again. I quoted recent, accurate, correct figues, with explanation and questions.

Stop trying to sidetrack it and stand up to your beliefs!

I have done

14%. :D:D:D:D

Oh, my apologies, Jacky, I thought the post was directed at me, when you said 'we' have agreed.

You were either ignorant, Jack, or your best attempt at a 'cunning plan' was, well, er,,, not very cunning!

What was that question, champ?
Say it again!

And you will have to explain my ignorance, or the cunning plan.

I am not clever enough to understand

Totally different type of figures, for a start you've got 5 sets where as the USA only has one, you are trying to work with yours all together so yes you would only increase 50%.

But if you only had one €100 (why Euros) and increase it 50% year on year for five years, would that only be a 50% increase. ????
My last sentence only asks you, if you still only have increased 50%, you know that you wouldn't have and you would be far higher in the percentage game.
Jack does have a knack at posting thing's that sound good too at least some on here, but I don't think percentages are one of his strong point's.
You could be waiting quite some time for a coherent, relevant reply, Phil.
:-)

Probably as long as i have to wait for your answers longs.

Still waiting. you are still avoiding.

Ive stated my beliefs, proved phils figures wrong, and you still cant answer

Sorry phil, ive answered your percentage post.

Either your figures were wrong or your calculations were As i said, they cant both be right.

And just give me a link to this 14% or higher maybe? From a recognised source

That's a given!

I'll say it again, one last time just for you.
14, 6, and 0% gdp growth rates over a 7-8 year period, were claimed, yes? Are we on the same page?
Yes?
Good. Excellent.

You then claimed that these figures were hogwash, balderdash, total lies and untrustworthy?
Yes you did.

You then claimed the correct figure was way, way lower than those stated by, Phil.
What was it? 1.4, 0.5 and 0.2? Something like that.
But, they were quarterly figures concerning growth in 2016, only.
Noooooo, relevance whatsoever.

Be a hero, Jack, admit you were wrong!

What was the question again? You know the one you keep referring too, but have never actually asked?

No questions - no answers!

Agredd, you have been unable to answer simple questions and just try to keep diverting away from them.

Stand up, and show your mettle, or divert again

Time for this post to end.

Its run its course, proved its point.

Obvious as an obvious thing that you cant answer and just divert.

Cya

Not crying.

You are not worthy of that.

Better, more informed people around.

Better educated about percentages too

But what are you going to do when they start taking, you will be totally lost again just like you are now, this is very basic maths and you seem to be unable to grasp it.

14% is roughly the total year on year growth, what do you not understand from that.

Figures in their own currency, quoted directly from source (so US figure in billions not millions that's why it looks smaller).
Calculations
Growth rate over 6 years = 2015 value/2009 value
Annual growth rate = 6 year rate ^ (1/6)

USA
2015: 18,036.6
2009: 14,418.7
Source: BEA.gov

Growth rate: 25.1%
Annual growth rate (CAGR): 3.8%

UK
2015: 1,832,807
2009: 1,628,583
Source: ONS

Growth rate: 12.5%
Annual growth rate (CAGR): 2.0%

Euro area:
2015: 10,455,774.4
2009: 9,228,703.7

Growth rate: 13.3%
Annual growth rate (CAGR): 2.1%

Nicely tried, Jack, but you gotta know your limitations . You gotta understand what you are up against here . This is Longs' mettle:

"Now, I haven't checked yours or Phil's claims cos I don't need too, I believe them both."

"I ain't checked, so I won't say they're definitely correct, cos I don't know."

"I do (believe them both), there's no reason too not believe them."

"Yes, I chose to believe them because just like 'you' I also didn't have a Scooby."

"I gave them the benefit of the doubt."

"I'm not clinging to any figures. I don't know if there right or wrong."

"I'm sure they are correct, Jack."

This was followed by a tragic descent into trying to be smug and patronising (which, of course, only actually succeeded in coming across as being more evasion):

"Oh, my apologies, Jacky."

"You were either ignorant, Jack, or your best attempt at a 'cunning plan' was, well, er,,, not very cunning!"

"What was that question, champ?"

"Don't cry, Jack. I never meant too make you cry! I'm sorry. :)"

"Whatever, dadyo"

"It's not my fault that you've got the painters in, Jacky!"

And a final bottoming crash into sublime irony:

"You could be waiting quite some time for a coherent, relevant reply (from Jack), Phil."

Are you embarrassed, Longs?

(And would you admit to it even if you were?)
