Hi There Can someone tell me what is the best wood glue they have found. I use Gorilla Glue, but it costs an arm and a leg????? Thanks
buzzstar i once got some gorilla glue but then started to use the rapid stuff in a tube. i never bothered with gorilla after that. i also use pva for normal stuff like trims, spindles, skirting mitres etc.
Has anybody tried the new Franklin Titebond III?This is claimed to be water resistant and generally better than the older pva or aliphatic glues - more like a polyurethane such as "Gorrila", but easier to clean up.Franklin glues are well liked in the USA! Regards, Hab
glue is not as simple as one thing does all jobs best i use PU glue in a tube (5 mnuite stuff) PU glue 30 minute gorilla glue PVA PVA waterproof it really depends on the job ans circumstances
I use PU 30min glue a lot nowadays, but PVA still has it's place, so does the ubiquitous "gripfill". That new "Sticks like ****" from evode is weird but quite good as well. Woody
