I have used two different wood paints in our living room. One is a white wood primer and the other is a white MDF primer. I was hoping that with the same white satin paint as top coats they would end up the same colour but the MDF primer cupboard is much whiter than the rest of the woodwork. Would I be able to use the normal wood primer on the cupboard and then do another coat of satin? Also we have artex on our hallway walls which we want to get rid of. What is the best way to do this?
Are you sure it's artex, could be Polyripple textured coating or similar. Old Artex did contain asbestos up to around 2000,do NOT scrap it off, regardless what it is, I would get the walls skimmed.
We had an asbestos review of the house when we moved in and they said it wouldn't have asbestos in it. Would this mean it is not artex?
