Worcester boiler 35 cdi fan

    URGENT

    Hello everyone

    I am desperate help have a combo boiler its packed up no heating no water wife freezing Shes on her own as I’m away on business, gas safe engineer been out saying fan obsolete as boiler is 17 years old.

    does any one know where I can get a genuine fan replacement as packed up, gas won’t ignite and fail s to fire up as fan faulty as been tested with meter across terminals as fan dead.

    Engineer said new boiler is that the case please help anyone we are desperate!!

    Definitely available online.
    If you know your exact boiler model you can then obtain the fan part number.
    Google the part number and you’ll get a hit.

    You can also find refurbished ones too.

    I’d be surprised if they were obsolete, but even if they are you could get a refurbished one off eBay if so.

    Fan can usually be lubricated with fan oil and that can be a temporary fix to get things going.
    Just hope he’s tested it correctly.

    Thank you for your reply, the engineer won’t fit a refurbished one he said has to be genuine part! So confused myself tried all the plumbing centres no luck I’ll keep trying. Thank you anyway!!

    Thank you for your reply! Where would you get the oil from anyway?! I have BG coming tomorrow see what they say, if you could let me know where you get the oil from I would appreciate it.

    The fans are genuine they are just refurbished.

    G.C. No. G20 47 311 39

    I will try googling it now

    Not a diy job, as normally the fan needs to be taken out to get the oil in the right place. A good gas engineer would have some and would have tried lubricating it at least as a temporary measure.

    The fan is obsolete after searching online hence why normal merchants can’t get it.
