"Healing"? You mean like homeopathy? Believe me, chiropractic work is NOTHING like those insane "healing" therapys... When you've had your back adjusted you know about it straight away...
Try Arnica Gel,used on horses with muscle strains. They sell various gels in chemist, supermarkets containing Arnica Gel. https://www.tesco.com/direct/atrogel-100ml-gel/581-9123.prd?source=others
Been using Tiger Balm and back much better. I was thinking of going for a proper massage to help loosen up my old tight muscles (No extras though!! )
Deep tissue massage is excellent, used to have that before seeing the Chiropractor (at the same place) in order to warm and loosen everything up.
My back first went after driving a Marina van around London for two years, all the support of a deck chair. Try shutting the old chap in your zip, I guarantee it'll take your mind off your back! Seriously though, I feel for you, I've had bad neck problems for 20 years, all due to my work I guess. My gp put me on a low dose of steroids, not ideal of course but nothing else has worked.
Seen a Chiropractor this morning. He said he can help (Money!) and i am going back to him tomorrow to hear his battle plan. Meanwhile, i went to a Thai massage place today and had a deep body massage (No extras! ). Waw!! Was intense and a little uncomfortable at times when the lady stuck her elbow in me! She even jumped up on the table, straddled me as she massaged my back! People, it was all very professional so dont get any naughty thoughts. £30 for an hour. Awesome price. Fantastic place.
Went back to Chiropractor today and he did smoke realigning of spine, usual push and click and neck too! Wants to see me again next week and the week after! I will see him in a couple of weeks though as i found the Thai Massage better (Not because the Thai lady jumped on me!!lol)
I suppose the massage place is significantly cheaper too? Nothing wrong with trying out a few different methods, don't have to rely on a professional all the time.
I've been routing stringers for a high level deck staircase today and now my lower back isn't happy at all. Pass the pills someone
