    Hi there

I'm wanting to remove existing tiles in my bathroom and then replace. I'm removing the tile adhesive but have ended up going fairly deep (please see photo). Would I need to go to that layer or fill in?

How can I make this good to re-tile?

    Cheers in advance

Looks like the adhesive has pulled the plaster off the wall, maybe as well to remove the lot an go for a re-skim for a decent finish to tile on.

    Cheers for the reply.

Could I use driwall adhesive for the gaps if I don't want to reskim? Would this bond with the remaining plaster and not collapse? Would tiles stick to it?

    Thanks again
