   Hi there I've recently removed my old tiles which were bonded to the plaster bonding. I believe you shouldn't bond to bonding so what would be the best thing to do? Get it skimmed? Couldn't plaster board it as there isn't enough space to. the tiles I'm fitting are 16kg/m2 any advice would be appreciated thanks

   Yep that's right, shouldn't tile to bonding as it's not a finish coat, doesn't possess the strength of one, and is too absorbent for tile adhesive. You know the answer already, skim it.
