I need to quote on a load of Cupboard doors and will use 25mm MDF, does anyone know if you can get cabinet hinges (not to expensive) for 25mm thick MDF?

AFAIK you just use standard ones, I'll have a little think and get back to you if I change my mind.

If it's overlay there is no problem, there might be with inset.

Are there a run of doors as there might be a problem and you'd need a spacer plate behind the cruciform.

I've never done 25mm inset doors so can't answer, call Hafele technical services.

I am going to be making the doors to fit in existing frames so size of the doors not a problem, not sure what you mean by cruciform?

There going to be panelled with mouldings and quite tall (2m) and 600mm wide so wanted to use 25mm so they don't wobble and bend.

It's the cross shaped bit that screws to the frame.

    Use more hinges.

What I was trying to say was if the reason you are making 25mm doors is to ensure that they don't warp then the easier answer is to use 18mm and more hinges, Hafele and Blum have a chart showing how many hinges you need for different sizes of door.

Basically the answer is to buy a pair of inset hinges and some 25mm and see if it works.
