Hi, I'm have a problem with my central heating. When I put my heating on the mechanical valve comes on and the radiators start to heat up but after a few minutes the mechanical valve turns off even though the control panel shows the heating is on. Can anyone tell me what the problem is as I'm not sure if it's linked to the control panel or the mechanical valve. Thanks

ok I see what you mean, as you suspect it could be the valve or the timer/programmer or even the room stat, only a multimeter and a bloke who knows how to use it will be able to say which, :(

    I agree,
Does it happen with both heating zones? I take it you have a HW & HTG programmer with either a room sensor or stat to it, the other zone a programmable room stat?
