I have the above thermostat which I think is in need of a "back to factory" reset. This I understand how to do My question is, will that reset clear the pairing, thus requring a full repairing, or will it remain unaffected? Thanks Alan
I am setting it for 7 day operation with 4 events per day. The temperature in event 3 is set at 20 deg C but when activated is at 22 deg C Thus I am suspecting some corruption around that setting which should (may?) be cleared by a reset.
On mine a reset will require paring again but another one, identical at a friends that didn't, you may need to do this reset twice as well for some reason, ESi tech support conformed this could b an issue so bear that in mind if the reset doesn't work, do it again according to the manual. Page 18 of the installation manual : 4.4 Resetting the Unit Hold the Next button and press the reset button to restore to factory default settings.
