Good morning all As my hands and arms are a bit shaky these days due to a cycle accident smashing both collarbones to bits I was contemplating doing some painting using gloss rollers to hopefully make it a little easier. It is a little difficult to grip a brush. I am a little confused as to which gloss paint is used with what particular type of roller. Screwfix sell high density foam, foam pile & tight woven. I was thinking of using liquid gloss, non-drip or possibly satinwood paint. If anyone could offer any advice I would certainly appreciate it.
The short pile (mohair type) are good but wash them at least twice before using they do shed when new, safest is foam and chuck them afterwards. These pile rollers from wickes are good, I did a whole load of plain doors with one worked very well but I would still wash them out and dry thoroughly before use. http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Rapid-Roll-Gloss-Sleeve-Short-Pile-230mm/p/607404
