Just got in from work and the cooker, washing machine and dishwasher have all broken. The washing machine is an Indesit W 123 and the controller just clicks around. The dishwasher is a Hotpoint FDL 570 and it won't take in any water. The cooker is going in a skip but are the other 2 fixable. Just in case I am being really thick what way should the lever point on a appliance gate valve? I'm presuming with the flow.
Can't help with the valve but can feel you're pain with all the appliances dying at once , things like that seem to happen here also lol !
I've just done Xmas, 3 funerals t'up North, daughters' 18th, sons' 19th in a couple of weeks. I just need to catch a break.
I slacked the feed to the dishwasher off and water came out and the washing machine has water in it so I don't think that's the problem but my brain is fried.
Because it involves rice, I not keen on rice, pasta or jacket potatoes, it's just too bland, no texture.
Jeepers, Chips - that's hellish, man. Can't believe it - seriously, really sorry to hear your news. Risotto? Maaaaan (Only kidding - I love Risotto )
Chips, if the dishwasher won't take in water pull it out and lay it on its side. Some water may run out, then put back and try it. Sometimes a float gets stuck.
Cough... Indesit W123? Is that a mechanical programmer? Ie - it physically rotates as the wash goes through its cycle? If that is knacked, then the whole machine is unviable?
INDESIT W123: Put it on the black dot and wait for rapid flashes - that means it's reset. Apparently. (Found on Google... ) That would chust be too good, but worth a try? UPDATE - That's for a different model
