I fitted a wickes laminate black worktop...
My girlfriend came just for 2 hour with me and asked how she can help. So i said she can clean the glue around the sink after masking tape what i used to make marks.
She used soap pads what she found and made tiny scrathes around. The worktop became matt and whitish.any idea how can i polish it up or give back the shine?
Many thanks for any help as i finished everything. I dont want to replace the worktop.

Hi, there are a number of products on the market which may help. try searching for work top restoration. Alternatively try using black T cut polish.

Unless you can live with the scratches, it's new worktop or new girlfriend :p:D Scratches always look really bad on new worktop, but after a while the whole top gets microscratches so it's less of a big deal. Gloss laminate worktops always scratch.
