How many bricks?

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how many bricks make a square meter and also how much sand and cement per square meter for the mortar.

    Hi Johnny its 60 metric bricks to one sqMetre and 10 blocks to one sqMetre but not sure about the sand/cement for the muck.. will leave that to the brickies on the forum..

    Hi, In stretcher bond its 60 bricks per m2 in other bonds ie flemish, english etc it is 120 per m2 I believe and i think the mortar is 0.017m3 per m2

    as has been said 60 for a 4" skin or 120 for 9"

    i measure out how much sand i need at 1 ton of building sand and 7 cement does a 1000 brick or 500 block
