I have some beautiful old pine doors that the council in their wisdom, even though I begged them not to, painted in water based paint. I viewed the property when they were preparing it for re renting and the doors were stunning all stripped and beautiful. I tried the chemical route and got no where. How can I return these doors to there natural state please. Thank you in advance for any advice and for taking the time to read and reply Zoe
Thanks Astramax I haven't tried one but will give it a go, I was hoping a chemical product would be available to dip them because I have 5 to do lol, Thanks again
You could get them dipped, not in the caustic stuff tho , that weakens the joints. Think there's environmentally friendly stuff nowadays. Hope this helps.
