    Hi all,

    Another kitchen question!

I'm about to install out new induction hob and according to the instructions all that is needed is to use the clips to secure to worktop.

I'm just concerned about water getting under it when cleaning etc. I can't use sealant as the bit that will sit on the worktop has foam around it.

Just checking this will be enuf.

I have put some varnish on the exposed cut of the worktop. To try and stop any water getting in

    Any advice appreciated as always!

the foam that comes with the hob is the seal ,just make sure you fit it nice and snug .when you fit clamps they should pull hob down a bit ,compressing the seal .
