I was just looking at the thread regarding thread deletion and excessive moderation. Funny enough we only discussed this a few weeks ago here, that allowing members to moderate others posts would have been a good idea. But I can clearly see that it has failed to work over there. The Mods on here are all Screwfix staff.

Peter does a marvellous job under very difficult conditions keeping control of a few idiots on this site who want to always push the barrier a little too far, oh bugger sounds like me!

 

It is generally a happy place...diy and the like can get quite stuffy at times so nice to keep it a bit up beat!
Then there's the sad people who still post when they're on holiday!

PVA debate not come up recently .... that always used to guarantee at least 4 pages of debate
