Been taking out an old Miele kitchen, talk about made to last!!! I am now left with the hanger hooks in the wall, I have tried to unscrew them but they seem stuck solid, is there a trick to remove them or should they just unscrew from the wall?

Just basically a screw thread and a wall plug

All of the above or pull em with a claw hammer
Will blow out some of the plaster / wall but maybe not a problem if cupboards going back up or patch up

    Unscrewing them will be neatest

Can't believe Kool not suggested his usual ...... he must be slacking somewhat ;)

In case you don't know ......... DYNAMITE ...... will remove those hooks (and other things in the surrounding areas)

You can get them in the claw of a hammer and rotate round to undo them if really tight, then finish off with a pair of pliers. Hate the things - hard to fit with a screwdriver and even harder to undo with a screwdriver.

    No all about size uknow.lol

  13. They were screwed in, so will screw out.

An adjustable spanner will slip on that cranked bit sideways - jobbie jobbed.

That's the problem Dev, they are rarely 'screwed in'. Usually put in by some cove using an adjustable spanner and all their weight.
