Lime plaster

    Plus travel and accommodation and was well worth it K to be honest. 1-1 and can really concentrate on getting a good finish. I have practiced on mock up frames and stuff before doing my own place, but when you have someone with his experience giving you all the pointers all day long you get a lot out of it.

    Learned a bit about lime and its properties. Will have a go at some pointing later on in the year.

    Worked on a stone building for the National Trust.

    The tutor was a plasterer so gave us some good tips, I don't think he like repointing as much.

    The product I used on my lime plaster job using Lime Green finishing plaster, didn't contain much lime, hence why it was quite rough.

    Don't know why, some peeps hate working with lime, but I use to enjoy it, especially pointing.
