Mist coat watering down

    hello,

    I'm about to paint freshly plastered walls using dulux supermatt 10l. I just wated to know with the 10l bucket how much water needs to be added to make it suitable to plaint onto new plaster ?

    Any where between 10% and 25% seems to be the norm.

    No! it's 10% of 10 litres or 25% of 10 litres ....simples​

    I wouldn't use dulux as a basecoat . A bit expensive for my taste. Buy a bucket of Crown and dilute it by 20%, or one fith, or a few glasses of water.
